The book is a guide through life for young people

As the BH news agency Patria previously reported, the book "...and I am from Srebrenica" by Fikret Hodžić, host of Hayat Television, is the best-selling book in Sarajevo bookstores.

- I am very pleased that my book "..and I am from Srebrenica" is one of the best-selling books, and I somehow suspected it would happen, because at the book promotions in cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, there were no less than 500 people, Fikret Hodžić told the Patria news agency (NAP).

The book is intended for young people, and Fikret's wish was for it to serve as a guide through life for them, to show them that it is possible to succeed in life, despite the numerous problems they encounter.

A few days ago, BH national football team player and Manchester City striker Edin Džeko also posted a photo with this book in his hand on social media. In the comment he wrote, Džeko included a quote from the book: "everything I am and believe I can be, I owe to you... and I am from Srebrenica." He further stated that he wholeheartedly recommends this book to all citizens.

On this occasion, Hodžić stated that it impresses him because a person like Džeko can somehow suggest to people to read the book and see how their current problems are actually small compared to those he and thousands of other children went through during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
