Domagoj Margetić's book "Bloody Balkan Billions" presented in Sarajevo

(Patria) - The book "Bloody Balkan Billions" by Domagoj Margetić was presented today at the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.

The book was presented by Suad Osmanagić, Ivan Balek and Ivica Filipović.

In the introductory part, Margetić said that he is especially glad to be in Sarajevo, because he considers Sarajevo his city.

Osmanić said that investigative journalism is dying out in the Balkans and that doing this job requires great courage.

Speaking about the book, Osmanagić says that "Margetić spent 15 years researching and proving that the war in our region was agreed upon between the regimes in Belgrade and Zagreb."

"While the people were fighting, they hid enormous wealth," concluded Osmanagić.

Balek says that the work "Bloody Balkan Billions" is the strongest book of investigative journalism, and that Margetić should one day write a book about how those millions were returned.

"The agreed war was not only a plan of our region, but also of world political-mafia centers to destroy the enormous wealth of our region," Balek stated and added that Domagoj Margetić is a foreign agent in both Croatia and Serbia, and that only in Sarajevo are doors wide open for him.

Margetić said that in every war there is war booty and that it quickly became clear that the regional authorities were only thinking about dividing the spoils.

"People meant nothing to them," says Margetić, who has been involved in investigative journalism since 1997.

Margetić also explained to those present the process of creating the book, as well as interesting situations he encountered.

What is particularly interesting is the presence of a former worker of Hidrogradnja, as well as a former saver, who at the end shared their experiences, and it will turn out that they went through an identical arduous process in proving the truth as Margetić did while collecting documents for the book.
