Clubs of deputies of SDP BiH, DF, and Our Party in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH submitted amendments to the proposed Budget of FBiH for 2017 necessary for the implementation of the Law on Suppression of Corruption and Organized Crime in FBiH.
These clubs are requesting an increase in funds for the Supreme Court of FBiH from the proposed 5,974,530 KM to 8,974,530 KM.
An increase has also been requested for the Federal Prosecutor's Office from 2,140,666 to 4,140,666 KM.
As explained by these three clubs, this would ensure full financial independence of these judicial bodies from any influence of representatives of the executive or legislative authorities.
As stated, the Government of FBiH during 2015 and 2016 did not spend a single mark from the 3.5 million KM allocated in 2015 and 1,000,000 KM in 2016.
- We believe it is high time that in 2017 full implementation of this extremely important law, which represents an effective solution for accelerated and efficient fight against corruption and organized crime, is undertaken.
