DF Caucus: Urgently repair damage caused by the fire at Kvadrant market

(Patria) - The Democratic Front (DF) caucus in the Sarajevo Canton (KS) Assembly has sent an urgent initiative to the KS Government for the repair of damage caused by the fire at the Kvadrant market.

With this initiative, they are requesting urgent action from the Government and that it provide in the shortest possible time:

- participation of other cantonal companies in the market area cleaning operation;

Fire broke out at Kvadrant market in Otoka, black smoke covered the sky

(Patria) - Around 1 PM, a fire broke out at the Kvadrant market in the Otoka settlement. Several fire trucks are on the scene extinguishing the fire. The fire is spreading quickly from stall to stall, which mostly contain clothing, textiles, plastic, footwear... Thick, black smoke is visible

- one-time assistance for owners, users, and workers;

- payment of rent compensation for business premises owners who wish to continue operating at other locations;

- an amount of KM 500,000 for KJKP Tržnice - pijace d.o.o. for a period of two years to pay rent compensation on behalf of business premises owners who will continue to operate at the renovated market.

"We also expect the relevant ministry and KJKP Tržnice-pijace to renovate the Kvadrant market as soon as possible, in accordance with all norms and rules, in order to take preventive action and prevent a similar disaster from happening again in the future," stated the DF caucus.
