Job Search Club: Belmin Tuzlić is part of the IMTEC team

That effort and hard work bear fruit was shown by the example of young man Belmin Tuzlić from Sarajevo, who after completing his secondary education was registered as unemployed in the Sarajevo Canton for a full two years. During his period of unemployment, he decided to enroll in an IT Academy to improve his programming skills. He considered this necessary for actively seeking a job in the IT field. 

Counselors from the Novi Grad Bureau referred Belmin to the Job Search Club, a cycle that lasted 12 days. During the Club, Belmin improved his resume writing, CV writing, and, crucially, presenting himself to employers.

- During the training, I was called for a job interview at IMTEC, a company that sells and services computer equipment. The employer needed a worker, a seller of computer equipment. I was free to ask them if they needed a service technician, and I made it to the shortlist - Belmin says excitedly.

He says the effort paid off because he knew the job wouldn't come on its own.

- I believe that we young people need to fight for ourselves, to invest in ourselves. I would recommend to all unemployed persons to actively follow the website of the Public Institution "Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton" and the mobile application "Get Hired" which features the latest job ads daily. The Job Search Club leaders did their job professionally. They motivated us and restored our confidence and will to actively seek employment and ultimately get a job - says Belmin.
