SBiH Caucus demands that the Vidikovac facility on Trebević be put into operation urgently

(Patria) - The caucus of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the City Council of Sarajevo has launched an initiative demanding that the city administration finally put into operation the "Vidikovac" facility, located next to the arrival station of the Sarajevo Cable Car on Trebević.

The "Vidikovac" facility was built more than five years ago, but it has not been put into use to this day. Instead of being the pride of the capital city and an attractive place for citizens and tourists, the facility is locked, neglected, decaying, and collapsing.

The question is justifiably asked - is someone consciously or unconsciously preventing this facility from being put into operation? Such an irresponsible attitude favors catering facilities located in another entity, while facilities owned by the City of Sarajevo are neglected and left to decay.

We remind that the facility has a building permit, and according to the findings of the Technical Acceptance Commission, certain technical deficiencies need to be rectified in order for it to be put into operation. Putting the facility into operation would enable the creation of new jobs and the development of tourist content that would benefit the citizens of Sarajevo and all visitors to our city.

Unfortunately, the previous city administration showed neither the knowledge, nor the will, nor the political responsibility to resolve this issue.

The caucus of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina expects the current leadership of the City of Sarajevo to correct these omissions and urgently put the "Vidikovac" facility into operation, to the satisfaction of all citizens and tourists visiting our beautiful city.
