SDA Club in BiH Parliament Announces Dismissal of Gordana Tadić over Mehmedagić Case

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Club of Deputies of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH believes that the "formation of a case" against the director of OSA BiH, Osman Mehmedagić, based on an anonymous report, is a cheap political-propaganda act.

"The BiH Prosecutor's Office has bombarded citizens with numerous 'formed cases' in the past period, which then regularly ended up in the trash can, because they were clearly initiated solely for media and PR needs, and not on the basis of serious arguments and investigation. In the context of this case, it is important to emphasize that Gordana Tadić was not prepared to file an indictment against the President of the HJPC, Milan Tegeltija, even after a recording appeared showing him clearly accepting a bribe, and yet she 'forms a case' against the director of OSA with an obvious political tendency, which speaks volumes about the professional degradation of prosecutor Tadić," states the SDA Club of Deputies.

They also point out that it is shocking that Chetnik war criminals, perpetrators of genocide in Srebrenica, and snipers who killed children in Sarajevo walk freely through the streets of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the neighborhood, and Gordana Tadić has no intention of prosecuting them, but has reduced the Prosecutor's Office to her own "private-political fiefdom."

"This approach must change as soon as possible, and the first step is the increasingly certain dismissal of Gordana Tadić," emphasize the SDA Club of Deputies in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
