SDA Club: The "Troika" insults citizens' intelligence with claims that Vukoja has no connection to HDZ

(Patria) - After consciously violating the Constitution and all relevant regulations to deliver a judge to the Constitutional Court of BiH to the HDZ, the "Troika" parties are trying to divert attention from this fact with easily verifiable falsehoods and hide from the justified criticism of the outraged public, announced today the SDA Club of Representatives in the FBiH Parliament.

"Connecting the election of a judge to the Constitutional Court of BiH with the completely different process of electing judges to the Constitutional Court of FBiH, and thereby presenting a series of falsehoods, only confirms that the "Troika" has no valid arguments to justify the brutal legal-political violence they carried out for the purpose of appointing HDZ's Marin Vukoja to the Constitutional Court of BiH.

In addition to ignoring the fact that the state and entity constitutional courts have different authorities and competencies, and that the process of electing judges is completely different, the "Troika", when listing the elected candidates, deliberately failed to mention the former SDP minister who was elected judge of the Constitutional Court of FBiH in the previous term.

With claims that he is the top-ranked candidate and not close to HDZ BiH, the "Troika" cannot hide the fact that Vukoja is 'top-ranked' thanks to the votes of HDZ and People and Justice representatives, and that he was an HDZ candidate for the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, but by doing so, they insult the intelligence of the citizens before whom they are trying to justify their actions.

Instead of lies and cheap spins, the "Troika" should explain to the public why they agreed to the illegal election of Marin Vukoja to the Constitutional Court of BiH at the insistence of the HDZ, which was publicly admitted by Our Party representative Damir Nikšić.

They should also finally explain why they handed over JP Autoceste FBiH, the Fund for Environmental Protection, the management of the Development Bank of FBiH, and FERK to the HDZ, and what else they plan to hand over to that party in exchange for positions in the government at the state and entity levels," stated the SDA Club of Representatives in the FBiH Parliament.
