SDA Club: The "Trojka's" decision to prevent the abolition of "white bread" and new salary increases for officials is shameful and irresponsible

(Patria) - A shameful decision by the ruling coalition's representatives to consciously and intentionally not support the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Salaries and Allowances in FBiH authorities, which provides for the abolition of "white bread" and the prevention of new salary increases for officials, has once again exposed the real priorities of the "Trojka" and their partners, which are their own privileges over the interests of the citizens of FBiH, it was announced from the SDA Club in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament.

"By refusing to include this Bill on the agenda of the session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, the "Trojka" representatives sided with preserving the privileged status of political officials, thereby not only preventing budget savings but also sending an unambiguous message to the public that their personal financial benefits, comfort, and income security, even after their mandate expires, have absolute priority over the daily problems of citizens.

It is particularly hypocritical that the "Trojka" representatives abstained, aware that such a stance would lead to the rejection of the initiative, thereby attempting to avoid political responsibility while simultaneously preserving existing privileges. Abstention in this case is not neutrality, but direct complicity in preserving an unjust system.

The refusal to abolish "white bread" and prevent new salary increases for officials by more than 500 KM, in circumstances where this same government plans to indebt the citizens of FBiH by another 2.3 billion KM, represents the height of political arrogance, social insensitivity, and a complete loss of touch with the reality in which the citizens of this country live," the reaction states.

The SDA Club reminds that the fight against privileges and the irresponsible spending of public money cannot be declarative but must be proven by concrete votes. Today's vote showed that the "Trojka" failed that test.
