DF Club in the FBiH Parliament: Trojka MPs must listen to Komšić and Bećirović, not Čović and Dodik

(Patria) - The Club of Democratic Front (DF) MPs in the FBiH Parliament held an extraordinary session regarding the appointment of judges to the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The DF Club welcomes the stance of the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirović, on the inadmissibility of electing a competent candidate for judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, such as Marin Vukoja.

"We believe that the MPs of Trojka must respect the position of the two members of the BiH Presidency who represent the majority political will of the citizens of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Democratic Front once again calls on the ruling coalition to postpone the vote on the election of judges of the Constitutional Court until the Venice Commission issues its Opinion on the method of electing judges of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Democratic Front Club will request the removal of Vukoja's appointment from the agenda of the Federal Parliament at tomorrow's session.

The DF Club believes that the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the most important judicial institution, which must not be left in the hands of Dodik and Čović, which will happen if Marin Vukoja, a politically contaminated person, is appointed as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina as the sole candidate", it was announced from the DF.
