Bosniak Club Submits Request for Extraordinary Session of the House of Peoples of the Federal Parliament

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The President of the Bosniak Club in the House of Peoples of the Federal Parliament, Almedin Aliefendić, told reporters today that a request has been submitted to the Chairperson Lidija Bradara for the scheduling of an extraordinary session, which was unanimously supported by the members of the Bosniak Club.

- We are in favor of scheduling the session and adopting the documents that will unblock the payment of pensions, as well as the issue of the Budget in Mostar. We propose that all six points that were on the House of Representatives be considered. If the Chairperson does not convene the session within 14 days, the Deputy Chairperson can convene the session within seven days - Aliefendić said.

He stated that it would be too late if they waited 14 days, and then another seven.

The Bosniak Club expected the new House of Peoples to be constituted, which is why the submission of the request for an extraordinary session was postponed. As Aliefendić said, the wish is for the session to be convened on Thursday so that everything is completed by January 31st.

- If these documents are adopted, pensions, disability benefits, and salaries will not be delayed, and therefore it is expected that there will be reason and that the Budget will be adopted by January 31st - Aliefendić said.
