(Patria) - The Club of delegates of the Bosniak people in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) today submitted a criminal complaint to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Milorad Dodik for the criminal offense of inciting national, racial and religious hatred, discord and intolerance under Article 145a of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The criminal complaint refers to the latest statements by Milorad Dodik that insult and degrade the Bosniak people.
"These statements by the said person are not isolated, but represent a continuity of statements over the past several years that insult and degrade the Bosniak people. Undoubtedly, such behavior constitutes a criminal offense for which he is being reported.
It is obvious that only criminal prosecution can stop the uncivilized behavior of the reported person. The history of Bosnia and Herzegovina teaches us that words that remain without a judicial response often precede crimes that can no longer be stopped. At the same time, the Club of the Bosniak people will raise the issue of full enforcement of the verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by which Milorad Dodik was recently finally convicted, before the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina responsible for executing court judgments.
This particularly concerns compliance with the legal consequences of the conviction, especially regarding the performance of the duties of the president of a political party," the statement from the Club of the Bosniak people in the House of Peoples of the PSBiH reads.
