(Patria) - Following the departure of Kemal Ademović from People and Justice, of which he is one of the founders, the question of his dismissal from the Collegium of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly has also arisen.
When the leadership of the House was elected in February 2023, Ademović nominated himself, and was elected with the votes of HDZ and SNSD as part of a coalition agreement, while the Bosniak Club nominated Šefik Džaferović (SDA).
For now, there is no confirmation from the Bosniak Club whether Ademović's dismissal will be requested, but considering the praise Safet Softić, an SDA delegate, expressed this morning on the show Jutro za sve, it is possible that Ademović will remain in the leadership of the House, unless a different agreement is reached. Softić stated that Ademović is an honorable and honest man, but that he cannot say anything about his return to SDA.
The member of the Collegium and president of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, has stated publicly several times that they made a mistake by outvoting the Bosniak Club and electing Kemal Ademović to the leadership of the House. Ademović has confronted the other two members of the Collegium, Čović and Nikola Špirić, several times over the agenda, and Ademović followed the Bosniak Club when it came to leaving sessions when the issue of the Constitutional Court of BiH was problematized. Whether the Bosniak Club will decide on Ademović's dismissal or if everything will remain as it is, will be known very soon.
The departure of Ademović from People and Justice, of which he is one of the founders after leaving SDA, was also commented on by the other deputy president of NIP, Denis Zvizdić.
“Every departure is bad and harmful, I regret that he left People and Justice, but such things happen on the political scene of BiH, it is not specific to NIP, it has happened in other parties as well,” Zvizdić said on BHRT.
He confirmed that he is staying in People and Justice.
We remind you that Ademović announced on social networks on Sunday morning that he is resigning from all party positions and leaving People and Justice.
At the end of October 2025, several officials from the KS Assembly, the Centar Municipal Council, and the City Council left NIP, along with several other councilors. Among them was Jasmin Ademović, Kemal Ademović's son. In the meantime, former NIP members formed a new political entity called Red Lines, but they have not had significant activities since their founding assembly to this day.
