KLUB 100-PLUS asks Inzko to impose a Law banning the denial of genocide in BiH

SARAJevo, (Patria) - "KLUB 100-PLUS" has launched a petition asking the High Representative of the International Community in BiH, Valentin Inzko, to urgently, and no later than July 11, 2020, impose a Law banning the denial of genocide in BiH.

"BiH has long needed a law banning the denial of genocide, and unfortunately, until today, almost 25 years after the genocide in Srebrenica, the authorities in BiH have evidently not been able to do so," the Club stated in a press release.

They added that the adoption of the Law banning the denial of genocide is an obligation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

"The adoption of the Law banning the denial of genocide is an obligation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, but due to specific political relations and the lack of political will, this is difficult to expect for now. In addition, the denial of genocide is the basis for undermining security and the political situation in the country," they stated.

"Through this petition, "KLUB 100-PLUS" addresses Inzko with the request that, within his powers, he decree-impose the Law banning the denial of genocide in BiH," they concluded.
