Klopić claims: I spoke with Silajdžić, he disagrees with SBiH entering the coalition

Regarding the situation in the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the public debate on whether the party's founder Dr. Haris Silajdžić supported the new coalition or not, a long-standing member of this party, a distinguished professor at the University of Tuzla and a member of the intellectual club Krug 99, Prof. Dr. Rifat Klopić, spoke out, reports the news agency Patria.

-I personally spoke with Dr. Silajdžić and he disagrees with SBiH entering the coalition because there is no need for it. SBiH could have been a corrective factor in the first attempt to form a coalition with A-SDA and BPS, but now it plays no role.

Therefore, it is true that the current leadership did this out of personal interests and not out of nurturing a recognizable and principled struggle for Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially when it comes to the fight for its integrity and sovereignty, which is reflected through the issue of state property. The Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Silajdžić believes, has no role in the current coalition and serves only personal or some other interests, not politics, says Dr. Klopić.

As Dr. Klopić further stated, the current leadership, with due respect to individuals he respects, is in the majority incapable of conducting the policy that was pursued in this party until a few years ago.
