"Keys of Rome" at the City Hall until October 23rd

Today, the international exhibition of Roman culture titled „Keys of Rome“ was opened at the City Hall, reports the BH News Agency Patria. 

Over the next month, visitors will be able to view exhibits at the Museum of the Imperial Forums in Rome, the Library of Alexandria, and the Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam, in addition to the collection at the City Hall, as all exhibited content is connected via the internet. This is a virtual journey through the Roman Empire, which at the time encompassed these four locations.
After October 23rd, this exhibition will move from the City Hall to the Brusa bezistan, a department of the Museum of Sarajevo, where it can be viewed until January 18th of next year, reports Patria.

According to Selma Rizvić, the local project coordinator, the exhibition brought together an interdisciplinary team of experts on behalf of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, with the idea of introducing storytelling into museum exhibits. 

The main project coordinator, Daniel Pletinckx from Belgium, demonstrated to those present how the exhibition works. The opening of the exhibition was attended by Dr. Mustafa Cerić, an independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of BiH.

„Keys of Rome“ represents the culmination of four years of work by 18 partners from 13 countries. The exhibition is organized by the European „Transnational Network of Virtual Museums“ in cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo, the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Museum of Sarajevo.
