KEY IS IN THE HOUSE OF PEOPLES While a new state coalition is being negotiated, Špirić, Košarac and Amidžić remain in their positions?

(Patria) - The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina voted on 25 February with 27 votes to dismiss SNSD ministers Staša Košarac (Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations) and Srđan Amidžić (Ministry of Finance and Treasury), but without confirmation in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina they remain in their positions.

Košarac is also a member of the Collegium of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, so without him the agenda of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina session cannot be set, which was demonstrated during yesterday as well. That the situation is tense and that everyone is running out of patience is shown by the statement of Chairwoman Borjana Krišto (HDZ BiH), who said yesterday that they are being blackmailed by "colleagues from the RS".

The session of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled for 2 April, and the last two items on the agenda are the Proposal for a Decision on the dismissal of the Chair/First Deputy Chair/Second Deputy Chair of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nikola Špirić, proposed by delegates in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Nenad Vuković, Želimir Nešković, Ilija Cvitanović, Zlatko Miletić and Kemal Ademović, and the Proposal for a Decision on the dismissal of the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Staša Košarac and the Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina Srđan Amidžić, proposed by delegates in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Nenad Vuković, Želimir Nešković, Ilija Cvitanović, Zlatko Miletić and Kemal Ademović.

However, bearing in mind that SNSD has three delegates in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is enough for them to simply leave the session and thus break the quorum for work, which they did at the previous two sessions, thus avoiding the dismissal of Špirić. And now also of Amidžić and Košarac.

On the same day, a meeting of the new coalition majority, the parties of the Troika (SDP, NIP, NS), HDZ and opposition parties from the RS (PDP, SDS, List for Justice and Order) will be held in the building of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. A meeting of delegations of HDZ and the opposition from the RS was held in Kupres on 22 March, a day after the meeting of Dragan Čović and the presidents of the Troika parties, and now a joint meeting of all old/new partners has been scheduled.

The change in the coalition came about due to the decision of the RS authorities led by Milorad Dodik to start adopting a series of unconstitutional laws that undermine state institutions, ban the work of judicial and police bodies on the territory of the RS, establish parallel institutions, and following the first-instance conviction of Dodik for disregarding the decisions of the High Representative.

The leaders of the RS, Milorad Dodik, Nenad Stevandić, Radovan Višković, and other accomplices are suspected of attacking the constitutional order. Due to failure to respond to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, detention was ordered for the three of them, and for Dodik and Stevandić, who have been leaving Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past month since the attack on the constitutional order began, an Interpol warrant has been requested.
