Climate rehabilitation of the veteran population in Neum

Thanks to the financial support of the Centar Sarajevo Municipality, 26 members of the Association of Families of Martyrs and Fallen Fighters of Centar spent seven days in Neum this year, reports the news agency Patria.

– After receiving requests for climate rehabilitation of the veteran population and their family members, the Commission for Social-Status Issues determines the priorities for sending them to the seaside. The main criteria guiding our Commission are the social situation of the family and the need for rehabilitation.

In previous years, we only sent older members of the association, while the recent practice is to include their children and spouses. For this project, 10,165 KM was allocated from the municipal budget, explained Ramiza Šejto, president of the Association of Families of Martyrs and Fallen Fighters of Centar.

The Centar Municipality provided funds for the aforementioned rehabilitation, which, in addition to accommodation, includes free transportation to the resort and three meals a day.

In this year's budget of the Centar Municipality, the amount of 59,300 KM has been allocated for projects implemented by the Association of Families of Martyrs and Fallen Fighters of Centar, it was announced from the Centar Municipality.
