Klas products that wear the crown of tradition and recognisability

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Bosnian-Herzegovinian cuisine has long been unimaginable without certain products that are an integral part of every household. Sweet and savoury delicacies are not considered tasty unless they are made from Klas's Zlatni puder flour, and the content of gifts when we visit our closest ones is not complete without Bosanski lokum.

Both products are flagships of the Klas assortment and are distinguished by a long tradition and recognisable quality, which is why they are rightly called the queens of this BH company.

Zlatni puder is produced in Klas's wheat processing mill, which is the largest and most modern, fully automated mill in Southeast Europe, with a total installed capacity of 450 tonnes per day. Thanks to new equipment, Klas has long held a leading position in the production of mill-bakery products in BiH, and Klas technologists strive to „bring forth“ authentic products from production.

This is also the case with Bosanski lokum, for which they „borrowed“ touches from culinary tradition for the recipe of this product, so that sweet-tooths around the world can enjoy the original tea pastry. This special delicacy is made from the highest quality ingredients and points to the rich and unique history of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

„According to stories, lokums were prepared only for the dearest – to be with them on long and uncertain journeys and to remind them with their scent of the home they left behind, and that wherever they are, they feel that love follows them. Over time, it became a favourite sweet of the whole world, and the food company Klas d.d. Sarajevo is the first and only industrial producer of lokum in this part of Europe according to the original oriental recipe“, state from the Klas company.
