KK Bosna will play in the ABA 1 League after all!

(Patria) - Tomorrow at 11:30 AM, a press conference will be held at the seat of the Government of the Federation of BiH in Sarajevo regarding the current situation concerning the Basketball Club Bosna.

Representatives of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of Sarajevo Canton, Zetra, and KK Bosna will address the press conference, according to the announcement.

The Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, Kenan Magoda, confirmed for Raport that an agreement has been reached and that KK Bosna will participate in the ABA League. More details will be known tomorrow.

Let us remind you, a few days ago, a contract was supposed to be signed that would go down in the history of Sarajevo's sports, a contract worth 1,200,000 KM for KK Bosna's participation in the ABA 1 League.

This was supposed to be the largest single amount that the Ministry of Culture and Sports has ever allocated to a sports collective.

However, at the request of the club's management, the signing was postponed, and then an official statement from the club arrived stating they are withdrawing from the ABA League.

"The citizens of Sarajevo Canton have the right to know the truth: the Ministry has secured the largest funds to date. The Government of Sarajevo Canton has fulfilled everything in its power. This support was not declarative; it was concrete, clear, and strong. Unfortunately, the decision to withdraw was not ours," Magoda stated earlier.
