KJKP Toplane switched to alternative fuel

KJKP "Toplane - Sarajevo" d.o.o. were informed on January 21, 2016, in the afternoon, by a letter from KJKP "Sarajevogas" d.o.o. about BH Gas's announcement of reducing the supply of natural gas quantities for Canton Sarajevo starting from January 21, 2016, at 4:00 PM.

In order to maintain the function of central heating, the stability of the gas and energy system in Canton Sarajevo, KJKP "Toplane Sarajevo" d.o.o., after prior consultations with the Ministry of Communal Economy and Infrastructure, requested consent and yesterday afternoon switched to using alternative fuel in boiler plants that have this technical capability.

All users of Toplane Sarajevo are properly supplied with thermal energy. The reserves of alternative fuel are sufficient on average for the next 5 to 6 days at the current outside air temperatures.

If necessary, the quantities of alternative fuel will be replenished.
