Rain in most of BiH, landslides of soil and rocks on roads

(Patria) - Rain is falling in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and traffic is on wet and occasionally slippery roads. We warn of frequent landslides of soil and rocks, and due to strong winds, of the possibility of fallen trees on the road. We particularly highlight the roads: Bihać-Srbljani-Bosanska Krupa, Jajce-Banja Luka, Turbe-Karanovac, Bugojno-Kupres, Jablanica-Prozor, Konjic-Jablanica-Mostar-Doljani, Sarajevo-Foča and Rogatica-Višegrad. After heavy rainfall during the night, we also warn of water accumulating on the road and advise more cautious driving adapted to road conditions.

Due to construction work on the A-1 highway on the Podlugovi-Visoko section, traffic is using the overtaking lane.

Construction work is also ongoing on the main roads: Hadžići-Sarajevo, Ćehaje-Srebrenik and Konjic-Jablanica (near the Crnaja tunnel), and traffic is moving slowly, in one lane, at the construction sites.

On the Rogatica-Ustiprača main road, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are using one lane, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is still suspended due to road damage.

Due to an active landslide, traffic is interrupted on the regional road Ugljevik-Glavičice, in the village of Ugljevik.

At border crossings, waiting times are short. Visibility is reduced at the Ivanica border crossing due to fog and low clouds.

Due to bridge damage, the Brčko border crossing can only be used by pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00.
