Rain brings trouble: Parts of Prijedor under water

The rain that has been falling in Prijedor since this morning has caused problems in several urban settlements. In the city center, manholes have become clogged, leaving intersections under water. Drains have also failed in front of the Medicine rada building, where the basement housing several clinics has been flooded, and in Pećani, some buildings can only be accessed in boots. However, the worst situation is in Rasavci. Drainage channels could not withstand the torrent, reports the Patria news agency. 

Water has surrounded several households. It has not yet entered the houses, but residents fear the night and more rain. The production halls of a private company in the same settlement have also been flooded. Firefighters, who are touring the city, have assisted them. They promise to be on duty and help wherever needed.

- Reports have started coming in, so we are now heading to the next location to see the situation and what we can do. Duty is always 24 hours, now it is reinforced. Teams are in the field and working, says Nebojša Miljuš, commander of the Prijedor Territorial Firefighting Unit, reports ATV:
