Cyprus defeated BiH 2:1

The first qualifying match for EURO 2016 BiH - Cyprus ended 1:2, writes the BiH news agency Patria. The second half was in Cyprus's favour, and they took the lead 2:1 in the 73rd minute. Although a penalty was awarded to BiH, the Cypriot goalkeeper saw through Miralem Pjanić's intention and saved it.

In front of a full Bilino Polje stadium, the BiH national team took the lead in the sixth minute with a goal by Vedad Ibišević, while Cyprus scored in the 45th minute, so the score in the first half was 1:1.

Before the start of the match, a minute of silence or recitation of Fatiha was held in honour of the five miners who died at RMU Zenica in the Raspotočje mine on September 4.

The fans in the stands did not cheer for five minutes, and then they showed their support for the BiH Dragons. Banners such as "Thanks for Brazil", "Let's go to France" or banners with mining symbols could be seen.

BiH national team lineup: Begović, Vršajević, Bičakčić, Šunjić, Lulić, Bešić, Pjanić, Sušić, Prcić, Ibišević and Džeko. In the second half, Haris Medunjanin and Izet Hajrović entered the game instead of Sanjin Prcić and Tin Sušić.
