China to send aid to BiH next week

(Patria) - Chairman of the Coordination Body of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Protection and Rescue and Minister of Security of BiH Fahrudin Radončić spoke today in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Ji Ping about cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fight against coronavirus. Although China is also affected by the pandemic, the possibility of assisting Bosnia and Herzegovina with medical equipment and protective gear was discussed, and it was announced that the first contingent of aid will be sent next week.

Minister Radončić emphasized that China's experience in fighting the coronavirus is very useful for health and other institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that it is important for doctors and protection and rescue services to exchange knowledge and best practices in preventing the spread of the virus.

Also, the issue of 52 Chinese workers in BiH, whose work and residence permits are expiring, was resolved on this occasion.
