Kico: We are witnessing a live attack on the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - Security expert Ahmed Kico spoke today on the show "Špica" on Television Sarajevo about the current security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Kico says the security situation is very complex and complicated, emphasizing that we are witnessing a live attack on the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- It continues with undiminished intensity, and all of this is affecting the security situation in BiH by all parameters - said Kico.

He points out that BiH citizens are frustrated and concerned because there is still no effective and adequate response from BiH institutions to the unconstitutional and anti-Dayton activities of the President of the RS and other people gathered around him.

- I think it is extremely important that BiH institutions are nevertheless taking certain measures and actions that are in accordance with the laws and the Constitution of BiH.

Opposing the unconstitutional activities of the President of the RS entity and others should be within the framework of legal constitutional provisions, so that this opposition, this resistance, does not step outside the framework of the legal and legitimate institutions of BiH, i.e., agencies - says Kico, as reported by Patria.

He welcomed the activities undertaken by BiH institutions, primarily the Presidency of BiH, then certain ministries, but also certain agencies that reacted in a timely manner, and based on whose reactions and appeals the unconstitutional laws in the RS were put out of force.

- I think this trend should continue. Our agencies and institutions must work around the clock and plan measures and actions to stop and cut off the unconstitutional and anti-Dayton activities of Dodik and all other officials from the RS.

This practically means that all institutions - from the BiH Prosecutor's Office, the BiH Court, state agencies, ministries - should daily propose concrete measures and actions for this opposition.

I believe it is possible for two members of the BiH Presidency to initiate daily talks to analyze the security situation and, based on that, in accordance with the law and the Constitution, propose measures and actions to cut off all these activities.

We must show determination and efficiency, and when we do that, the international community will understand that it is dealing with serious people and will be able, together with our institutions, to stand in defense of BiH - added Kico.
