Kebo: Prcić betrayed even the students of the university he leads, they begged me to protect them

If colleague Budimir, retroactively, classified Prcić as a Bosniak, I am not informed about that, although that would not be anything new either. When electing judges of the Constitutional Court of FBiH, the judge from the Croatian people Danica Šain, he classified her as a Serb, so that she would not be in the proposal of the decision and so that his friend's wife Dragica Dragičević would be appointed in her place. This is how the Vice President of FBiH Mirsad Kebo responded to the President of FBiH Živko Budimir in a statement sent to the media, reports the Patria News Agency.

After Kebo refused to give consent for the appointment of Denis Prcić as the President of the Securities Commission of FBiH, because, according to Kebo, Prcić has multiple criminal charges and does not come from the Bosniak people, which would violate the national structure in this important institution with his appointment, Budimir also issued a statement claiming that Kebo made a series of untruths about him.

- I consider it inappropriate, but also rude, to comment on someone's national affiliation because, if Prcić is not a good enough Bosniak according to someone's standards, despite his father being named Osman and identifying as a Bosniak, it does not mean he is not a Bosniak. The Vice President of FBiH Mirsad Kebo obviously takes it upon himself to set his own criteria for determining who is and who is not a Bosniak, following the example of the self-proclaimed leader of Croats in relation to Croats in BiH - Budimir stated in his statement.

He also added that when applying for the competition for the Securities Commission of the Federation of BiH, Denis Prcić submitted a Certificate from the competent court stating that no indictment had been filed against him, thus meeting the criteria prescribed by the competition.

Kebo, on the other hand, considers Budimir's responses ridiculous. They are serious, he says, only because Budimir is manipulating the public, promoting individuals of questionable moral repute, and ignoring constitutional categories of national balance in important appointments, including the Securities Commission.

- I am just one of those who were approached by betrayed students of the educational institution headed by Prcić. To make matters worse, it wasn't just students who approached me, but also some professors and rectors, who, as they told me, packed their belongings and left after a few days of work at the university because they did not want to be part of illegal activities - Kebo stated.

- This is more than enough reason why, as long as I hold the position of Vice President of FBiH, that gentleman and all like him will never be appointed. Independent judicial bodies should deal with them, not the Presidency of FBiH. Why does colleague Budimir insist on Prcić and is someone pressuring him to appoint him..., Kebo wonders.
