Kebo states: I am not a traitor, I did my constitutional duty!

What was my constitutional duty, I did it. Now let others continue to do their job – stated the Vice President of the Federation of BiH Mirsad Kebo, after today in the BiH Prosecutor's Office he gave a statement about his knowledge regarding the alleged responsibility of the military leadership of the Army of RBiH in connection with war crimes against Serbs in Vozuća near Zavidovići, during the aggression against BiH, writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Kebo had previously submitted documentation to the BiH Prosecutor's Office, which allegedly reveals crimes against the Serbs of Vozuća, about which the leadership of the Army of RBiH, according to his claims, knew but remained silent all along. He said he would be happy if this issue had been raised earlier, so that the wounds from the past period could heal as soon as possible.

Statements about alleged crimes of the Army of RBiH, which Kebo talks about, have caused a wave of accusations from Bosniak politicians and former generals of the Army of RBiH.

They called Kebo a traitor, who works for the interests of the authorities from RS, who want to tarnish the honorable defense-liberation struggle of the Army of RBiH for the preservation of the integrity of BiH.

On the other hand, Kebo says he does not feel like a traitor. He emphasizes that he did the job he was supposed to do according to the Constitution of FBiH.

Finally, he says, he is just a link between citizens and the authorities. And the documentation he handed over to the prosecutor, he claims, he received from citizens who held various positions in society in the past. He did not check the validity of these documents, but only forwarded them to the prosecutor.
