(Patria) - Federal delegates confirmed the appointment of the new leadership of the FBiH Institutions Audit Office.
Mirza Kudić was appointed to the position of Chief Auditor tonight, and Nina Džidić as his deputy.
The House of Peoples confirmed their appointment with 41 votes "for", nine against, and five abstentions.
The election of the Chief Auditor caused considerable controversy, and the US Embassy in BiH also expressed its concern regarding this election today.
Namely, this is an agreement between the Trojka and HDZ, and Džidić is precisely Dragan Čović's choice. Džidić is, in fact, the daughter of Čović's godfather Branko Kolobarić, who also held this position for years, which his daughter has now been appointed to.
As for Kudić, the opposition pointed out that he lacks work experience and that he was favored in the competition and interviews conducted by the competent commission of the FBiH Parliament.
