Kasumović: Salko is prone to trickery, I will see what I will do next

Salko Selman (SDA) today signed a relevant contract with the Development Bank of FBiH, thus formalizing the decision of the Supervisory Board of RB FBiH from October 24, by which he was appointed President of the Management Board, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

As Patria reported a few days ago, Selman holds five political positions in the Party of Democratic Action. Fuad Kasumović, one of the registered candidates for the President of the Management Board of RB, also reacted to this, stating that he will file a criminal complaint against Selman because he was appointed despite holding five political positions, thus violating Article 18 of the Law on the Development Bank of FBiH.

- Article 18 of the Law on the Development Bank explicitly states that the President and Vice-President of the Management Board of the Development Bank cannot hold any political office in any party. According to the information I have, he submitted and signed a statement renouncing all positions. That's at least five. He is the president of the Cantonal Committee of SDA SBK, vice-president of SDA, president of the Personnel Commission, member of the Steering Committee, and member of the General Board. This should be followed up on – states Kasumović.

On the other hand, Aid Berbić, president of the Supervisory Board of RB FBiH, said today that Selman submitted a written statement that he resigned from all party positions on October 17. This act allegedly applies to all political positions. Kasumović said that if this turns out to be true, he will not file a criminal complaint against Selman because it would be pointless.

- According to the information I have and knowing that modest Salko, I know he is prone to trickery, so to speak. If he really resigned in the sense that SDA relieved him of his duties so that he will no longer attend or chair the Cantonal Committee of SDA SBK or the Personnel Commission, etc., then I have no right and it is pointless because the man respected the law. But if he doesn't, if he wants to continue holding these positions, it is normal that I will file a complaint – said Kasumović.
