Kasumović calls on SDA Zenica to stop radicalizing the city

As a proven fighter for Bosnia and Herzegovina, in all fields, and it is known that in the hardest times of 1993, for merits in defense, I was awarded the highest war recognition “Golden Lily”, I felt the need, as the future mayor of Zenica, to promise my fellow citizens that in our Zenica all people will have equal rights to work, education, healthcare, and of course, full religious freedom, announced Fuad Kasumović, an independent candidate for the mayor of Zenica.

- SDA Zenica persistently, through radical imams, one of whom is Mevludin Dizdarević, wants further radicalization in our environment. This is unacceptable, and further radicalization can lead us to economic and social isolation. Zenica must remain an open city.

Zenica is a city of equal opportunities for all and must not become a hostage of incompetent manipulators who, in order to stay in power, harness radical elements to their reins. This creates confusion, fear, and uncertainty among our citizens. The enemies of this country want our society to radicalize in order to justify what they have done and to scare the civilized world with these extremes. No one has the right to radicalize Zenica, and therefore I call on SDA to publicly declare and condemn these radical elements and their attack on me as a candidate for the mayor of Zenica.

I want to say publicly that my election slogan was created as a reaction to this situation and the behavior of irresponsible individuals from Zenica's SDA: “Our city – Zenica is both Bosnian and European”! With me, this is possible - states Kasumović.
