Kasumović praised the work of the MUP ZDK in securing public gatherings and solving criminal offenses

The Mayor of Zenica, Fuad Kasumović, held a working meeting with the Police Commissioner of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Semir Šuta. The meeting was also attended by associates of the Police Commissioner's Office, Chief of Police Administration I Admir Gazić, and commanders of the Police Stations Centar, Crkvice, and Nemila, Patria reports.

Discussions were held on the security situation in the area of the City of Zenica and the Zenica-Doboj Canton, as well as on improving cooperation between the police and the City of Zenica.

Mayor Kasumović thanked for the previous activities and engagement of the Police Commissioner and police stations, as well as the achieved results in the area of security of Zenica citizens and their property.

- I would praise the work of the police structures operating in the area of the City of Zenica, where in the past few months we have witnessed successfully implemented activities in securing several public gatherings in our city. Among others, the New Year's celebration outdoors. In the same period, several criminal offenses were successfully solved, which contributes to greater security for our citizens - said Mayor Kasumović on this occasion.

He also emphasized that the police structures have full support from the City Administration in future planned activities.
