Kasumović: Many have grown rich on your votes, yet in the 21st century you reach your homes via gravel roads

Fuad Kasumović, independent candidate for mayor of Zenica, held public forums in the settlements of Kovanići, Bistrica, Vukotići and Šerići, reports the Patria news agency.  

Kasumović socialized with residents of four local communities in the north of the Zenica municipality, where he had the opportunity to personally see that he enjoys the sympathy and trust of a large number of residents in this part of the municipality.

-These are settlements that have given a lot, yet received nothing in return. Many have built careers and fortunes on the votes of these people, yet Kovanići cannot be reached normally by road from Zenica; one must use a road through the Žepče municipality. People lack roads, lighting, children's playgrounds... In Bistrica, the situation is even more difficult; this settlement, like Vukotići and Šerići, which gave a large number of martyrs in the defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is reached via gravel road, even though it is the 21st century.

I have a solution for all these problems created by those who have neither a plan nor a program to save their people, whom they still keep in the nineties and continue to lie to their voters. I stood by my people in the most difficult moments, I am here today, and I want to be here tomorrow, to build roads and new jobs that will keep our children in Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Kasumović, adding that he will restore dignity to workers and families in Zenica.

-I will bring investors and increase incentives, help you market your products, and introduce taxes on betting shops, from which I will finance sports, culture, and local communities, but also certainly separate a good number of young people from those betting shops. Every village will have internet, said Kasumović, for which he was rewarded with applause from the large number of attendees at these gatherings.
