Karović: Court ruling on Lukač will not disrupt our work

Midhat Karović, President of the Security Commission of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, told Patria that he cannot comment on the decision of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo at this moment, but that everyone in the PFBiH is working urgently to implement the new Law on Internal Affairs of the FBiH as soon as possible.

Given that, according to him, the Independent Board headed by Sead Selman is not in accordance with the law, it is necessary to take all measures to make it so.

-Things are falling into place and in the end the law that came into force last year will have to be implemented.

It will probably be on the agenda at the third or fourth regular session of the PFBiH, because we have priority matters, and this is one of the priorities. We are principled and will not give up. We will do our part and implement everything that must go through the institutions.

We will not be late and we will initiate everything on time. All commissions, from the Legislative-Legal Commission, the Appointments Commission, etc., are tied by this law and we must regulate our rules of procedure and align them with the new regulations - says Karović.

It is known that NO member Nezir Pivić will take the seat of Deputy Minister of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina, so another seat in the NO remains vacant.

-All of this needs to be done and completed, and we will try to ensure it is all done on time, because preparations for the election of a new NO, whose mandate expires in October, should start as early as April - added Karović.
