Karić presented Sarajevo's Letter of Appreciation to outgoing US Ambassador Eric Nelson

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Eric Nelson will soon leave Bosnia and Herzegovina after his term as US Ambassador to BiH expires, and on this occasion, the Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, presented the Ambassador with a Letter of Appreciation.

"We are proud that at the end of his mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, our Ambassador Eric Nelson received the City of Sarajevo's Letter of Appreciation for the support he provided to the capital city. Ambassador Nelson gladly accepted this recognition after three years of living and working with the people of Sarajevo, especially since it also acknowledges his personal commitment to the equality of all citizens in Sarajevo and throughout BiH," stated the US Embassy in BiH on its official Facebook profile.

During the presentation of the Letter of Appreciation, the Mayor of Sarajevo, Karić, emphasized that this support was of exceptional importance for the image of the BiH capital and the development of democratic processes within it.
