Karić received Austrian Police Liaison Officer: Realize joint projects

(Patria) - Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH Enes Karić and his deputy Đuro Knežević, today received a visit from the Police Liaison Officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Mr. Manfred Jurčević.

Director Karić welcomed Mr. Jurčević and wished him successful work in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and informed him about the responsibilities of the Directorate and its role in the security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also presented the future planned activities covered by the Strategic Development Plan of the Directorate, which relate to strengthening communication, coordination and cooperation with both police bodies in BiH and international partners, as well as ensuring the protection of persons and facilities.

The participants of the meeting highlighted the successful cooperation so far, especially when it comes to information exchange through international police cooperation channels. The commitment to improving cooperation, which would be implemented through the realization of joint projects, was also emphasized.
