Cardinal Puljić led Midnight Mass: May the Christmas night dispel the hopelessness that has taken hold of people

With the celebration of Midnight Mass in churches across BiH, one of the greatest Catholic holidays, Christmas, was welcomed. In the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Sarajevo, the Christmas vigil - Midnight Mass was led by the Metropolitan of Vrhbosna, Cardinal Vinko Puljić, Patria reports.

Cardinal Puljić emphasized in his sermon that we live in a time of hopelessness, shrouded in the darkness of unfortunate wars waged for reasons of interest.

-A figure of 350,000 dead is thrown out, as if they were 'mushrooms' and not people. Again, those whose minds have been drunk and who are pushed to kill are called terrorists, while those who push them into it are greater terrorists. The big ones who sell small people. God's law, natural law, is being destroyed, and they call it democracy - said Cardinal Puljić, adding:  

- May the Christmas night enlighten hearts, dispel the hopelessness that has taken hold of people. Let us not allow them to drink our reason, our sense of justice, our piety.
