Convicted war criminal Radovan Karadžić, 25 years ago in the Assembly of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced a bloody war with a famous speech used as evidence during the trial at the Hague Tribunal. He sent a threatening message from the podium during the debate on the independence of the RBiH, Patria writes.
– Do not think that you will not lead BiH into hell, and the Muslim people perhaps into disappearance. Because the Muslim people cannot defend themselves if there is war here – Karadžić said then.
A quarter of a century later, an almost identical statement, only not from the podium but in the media, was given by the President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nedeljko Čubrilović.
Reacting to the statement of the member of the Presidency of BiH and President of SDA, Bakir Izetbegović, who announced that a request for revision of the lawsuit against Serbia for genocide would be submitted, Čubrilović said:
-Revision is the path to the disappearance of BiH, and will contribute to the deterioration of relations between BiH and Serbia. The people in Republika Srpska are against that revision.
Radovan Karadžić was the founder and first president of the SDS, and Nedeljko Čubrilović is the vice-president of the DNS.
