Karačić: My daughter did not draft the document for Lukač

It has been omitted from public discussion that Dragan Lukač, former director of the FUP, will continue his police engagement as chief inspector in the cabinet of the Director of the Police Administration, but a document has subsequently appeared that proves this. 

The new position in the FUP has created legal prerequisites for Lukač to receive a severance pay of up to 30,000 KM after his 'next retirement'. 
Džemo Karačić, owner of the company Galbolos, reacted to Patria's article titled 'The document for Lukač's new position was drafted by the daughter of the owner of the company that maintains the FUP building!'.

He stated that his daughter Alma Karačić, who is employed by the FUP, did not draft the document for Lukač's police engagement as chief inspector, but rather another person, Amila Karčić.

'My daughter did not write that document. My company works not only with the Federal MUP, but also with other institutions, and after we win a tender,' Karačić said.

According to the Law on Police Officers in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers are entitled to severance pay in case of retirement, but not appointed officials, which was Lukač's status as director of the Federal Police Administration.

The new decision for Lukač, which is illegal and unlawful, especially since Lukač was not an employee of the FUP before his directorial position, has caused unrest among the employees of that police agency. A source from the FUP reveals that there was particularly strong turmoil in the Legal Service of the FUP. 

The head of the legal service, Sabina Muhović, refused to draft the document, so another person had to do it.
