Captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina U-16 basketball team Džanan Musa has arrived in his hometown Bihać, where he was welcomed by numerous fellow citizens, as well as the Mayor of Bihać, Emdžad Galijašević, reports BH news agency Patria.
As announced on the official website of the City of Bihać, Galijašević decided to reward Musa by granting him an apartment in this city.
Musa was named the best player of the European U-16 Championship and MVP, which is one of the highest accolades for a basketball player.
On the main city square, thousands of fellow citizens came to greet the golden boy, and a sign reading "Welcome Champion" was also set up.
