Kapidžić: We have received the research results, SDA is in a convincing lead in Sarajevo Canton

(Patria) - The Sarajevo Cantonal Board of SDA held a press conference where it presented its candidates for mayors and candidates for municipal councils.

The President of the Cantonal Board, Faruk Kapidžić, began his address by acknowledging some mistakes, primarily personnel ones, that SDA had made in the past, and presented the changes that have occurred within SDA of Sarajevo Canton and the municipal boards themselves.

"We have received public opinion polls; SDA in Sarajevo Canton is in a convincing lead, but we must not become complacent because of that. We must work hard on the campaign in the coming month so that this victory, God willing, will be magnificent. The victory of all our candidates for mayors, as well as the victory of the candidates of SBiH and DF whom we have supported, is extremely important. However, no less important is the victory of our lists for the Municipal Councils. We have 293 candidates for 9 Municipal Councils in Sarajevo Canton, of which as many as 110 are young people. Among them, 6 are doctors of science, 54 are masters of science, and another 166 are highly educated." - said Kapidžić.

Kapidžić emphasized that it is important for the citizens of Sarajevo Canton, as well as the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina, to send a message to the parties and candidates of the "Troika", and to tell them through their vote in the elections that they do not have the support of the citizens for all the betrayals, idleness, their connections with cartels, and the destruction of everything they have touched!



"In Sarajevo Canton, in the last local elections, they offered us the 'Sarajevo Agreement', and the result was stagnation in those municipalities where they received support. Ibrahim Hadžibajrić was arrested on serious charges of crime and corruption; Srđan Mandić was saved only by the abuse of position and the ignorance of those who started his recall; for Hasan Tanović, even adopting the Agenda during his term was considered a success; and Nermin Muzur did not realize a single serious capital project in 4 years, even though he had all the support from higher levels of government. They are facing the 'Sarajevo Response'. In the 4 municipalities where SDA has mayors, that leadership will be even more strongly consolidated!" - added Kapidžić.

He emphasized that even today, some candidates of the Troika are trying to distance themselves from the Troika, while in reality the Troika only survives on their populism.

"There is a phenomenon where Troika candidates for mayors, such as Benjamina Karić, Nermin Muzur, and Irfan Čengić, are trying in every way to distance themselves from the treacherous politics of the Troika and their devastation of the system at all levels and in all sectors.
However, Karić and Muzur are vice-presidents of SDP and NIP, and Čengić is even supported on the ground by people like Konaković and Rama Isak.
A vote for them is a vote for Konaković, Nikšić, Forto, Isak - and consequently, it is also a vote for Dragan Čović and Milorad Dodik." - concluded Kapidžić.

At the press conference, in addition to President Faruk Kapidžić, spoke Nermin Hodžić - candidate for mayor of Ilijaš, Dženan Selimbegović - candidate for mayor of Stari Grad, Samir Lokvančić - candidate for mayor of Ilidža, Migdad Hasanović - mayor and candidate for mayor of Vogošća, Eldar Čomor - candidate for mayor of Hadžići, and Amina Dedić - list bearer on behalf of the candidate for mayor of Trnovo.

In addition to the candidates for mayor, the press conference also featured the list bearers of SDA for the Municipalities where SDA did not propose a candidate, but supported the candidates of SBiH and DF. These are: Kerim Balić - list bearer of SDA for the Municipal Council of Novo Sarajevo, Hamdija Hasanović - list bearer of SDA for the Municipal Council of Centar, and Elvir Resić on behalf of the SDA list for the Municipal Council of Novi Grad.
