As speculated: DF's request at the Constitutional Court of FBiH only after SDA-SBB coalition is formed

On Tuesday, November 3, starting at 10 AM, a public hearing will be held before the Constitutional Court of FBiH regarding the request of the Vice President of FBiH, Milan Dunović, to determine the constitutionality of the Decree on exercising authorities in companies with state capital from the jurisdiction of the Federation of BiH, writes the Patria News Agency.

The request refers to the part of the List of companies in which the Government of the Federation exercises authorities based on state capital from the jurisdiction of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Milan Dunović, the applicant, and a representative of the Government of the Federation of BiH, whose act is challenged, have been invited to the public hearing.

As a reminder, the adoption of this controversial Decree in June this year was the reason why four federal ministers from the Democratic Front resigned from their positions.

Although Dunović sent an urgent request to the Constitutional Court of FBiH more than a month ago after submitting the request, the controversial Decree came on the agenda, as already speculated, only after the new SDA-SBB coalition was formed.

According to unofficial information, Čović allegedly used the influence of the judge of the Constitutional Court of FBiH, and until a few months ago, the president Kate Senjak, to delay the inclusion of Dunović's appeal on the agenda. The appeal was allegedly supposed to be decided on October 7, but the date of the public hearing was deliberately postponed.

Before the formation of the new SDA-SBB coalition, DF announced that if they prove at the Constitutional Court of FBiH that the Decree is unconstitutional and not in accordance with the law, there is a possibility of their return to power.

Given that a new political pact has been concluded in the meantime, for DF, if the court decision is positive for them, it can now only be a moral satisfaction.
