Equipment worth 490,000 euros donated to Zenica Cantonal Hospital

A high-ranking delegation from the Republic of Turkey, led by Turkish Ambassador to BiH Cihad Erginay, and including the Mayor of Kartepe Municipality Huseyin Uzulmeza and the Director of Howon Otomotiv, Cem Kurtis, today donated medical equipment to the citizens of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, which was delivered to the Department of Gynecology, Perinatology and Neonatology of the Zenica Cantonal Hospital, reports a reporter from the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The medical supplies with which the Department of Gynecology and Maternity Ward of the Zenica Cantonal Hospital has been equipped and renovated are worth around 490,000 euros.

In the Zenica-Doboj Canton, 3,000 babies were born at the Zenica Cantonal Hospital in 2015.
