Sarajevo Canton: Free public transport for pupils and students during holidays

(Patria) - Third and fourth grade pupils and students in Sarajevo Canton will have free transport during the holidays as well, confirmed the Minister of Transport of Sarajevo Canton, Adnan Šteta.

- We have strategically committed to providing the most affordable public transport for the young people of our canton.

Likewise, our decision was to subsidize transport for pupils and students during the holidays, and we achieved this through the allocation of subsidies in previous years.

Thanks to the Government's subsidies and cooperation with transport operators, pupils and students will also be able to use public transport for free during the holidays this year," said Šteta.

The company Centrotrans announced that it will immediately start implementing the new Government decision.

"We thank the Ministry of Transport and the Government for their swift response in extending this great benefit for the pupil and student population," Centrotrans stated.
