BiH Presidency Candidates on FTV on October 1, 3, and 6

All candidates for the BiH Presidency in the upcoming General Elections on October 12 are expected to appear in three talk shows titled "Elections 2014" on Federal Television (FTV), scheduled for October 1, 3, and 6, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The first show on October 1 is expected to feature: Živko Budimir (Party of Justice and Trust - SPP), Džebrail Bajramović (Party of BiH Diaspora), Dragan Čović (Croatian Democratic Union of BiH - HDZ BiH), and Bakir Izetbegović (Party of Democratic Action – SDA).

The second debate show on October 3 is expected to feature Halil Tuzlić (independent candidate), Fahrudin Radončić (SBB-Fahrudin Radončić), Emir Suljagić (Democratic Front Željko Komšić - DF), Mirsad Kebo (independent candidate), Adil Žigić (independent candidate).

However, on September 17, Emir Suljagić sent a letter to the editorial office of Radio-Television of the Federation of BiH informing them that he would not participate in the planned presidential debates on FTV due to the preferential treatment of candidates currently holding office, referring to the Bosniak member of the Presidency, Bakir Izetbegović.

Although it was rumored that Fahrudin Radončić would also not participate in the planned show, no official statement regarding his appearance on FTV has been released to date.

The third show is planned to feature Dr. Mustafa Cerić (independent candidate), Bakir Hadžiomerović (Social Democratic Party – SDP), Ante Popović (Democratic Front Željko Komšić – DF), Sefer Halilović (Bosnian Patriotic Party – BPS), and Martin Raguž (Croatian Democratic Union 1990 – HDZ 1990).

Namely, as the Patria agency learned, these debates were supposed to be held in the last week of the election campaign (October 6, 8, and 10), but the schedule was changed due to the BiH national football team's match with Wales.
