SDP presidential candidates: Nikšić, Pudarić, Lipovača, Alagić, Mustafić, Borić, Helez, Bešlagić

The session of the SDP Personnel Commission, which considered candidacies for the new president of this party, has concluded. As Alija Behmen, president of the Personnel Commission, confirmed to Patria, out of 31 registered candidates, eight accepted their candidacy, with a ninth (Bogić Bogićević, editor's note) on the way, and it will be known on Wednesday whether he will accept it.

- Among the eight candidates, one is a woman, and we will see what happens with this ninth one. Lidija Korać declined her candidacy, and she should explain why she did so. Also, Denis Bećirović and Damir Hadžić declined their candidacies. Our only lady who accepted her candidacy is Besima Borić - says Behmen.

Besides Besima Borić, the candidates are Nermin Nikšić, Svetozar Pudarić, Hamdija Lipovača, Mahmut Alagić, Ferhat Mustafić, and Selim Bešlagić, who were proposed by the base, while Zukan Helez self-nominated.

The final proposal of the list of candidates for party president goes to the Main Committee, which adopts the final list of candidates for the Congress scheduled for December 6.
