DF Candidates: Elections are won among the people, not at rallies

We are people who will not betray the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I will not allow it, and it will not happen at the cost of anything or anyone - said Željko Komšić at last night's presentation of the candidates of the Democratic Front – Željko Komšić for all levels of government in BiH, at the Youth Center in Sarajevo.

The president of the Democratic Front and member of the BiH Presidency, Željko Komšić, said that elections are not won at rallies, but among the people, and that the Democratic Front will not conduct a "dirty" campaign.

-          We are prone to these dirty things in political life, especially in campaigns. I can only promise on behalf of the Democratic Front that we will not do that. We will do things a little differently, respecting our political opponents first and foremost, because through them we respect the people who vote for them - emphasized Komšić.

The candidate for the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, Emir Suljagić, said that BiH is the only country in Europe where grandchildren live harder than their grandfathers lived.

-          These elections are a referendum on how we have fared over the past four years. Those who are currently in power claim that the country is moving in the right direction. We in the Democratic Front – Željko Komšić disagree with that because we believe that we must move decisively towards change - said Suljagić.
