Red Cross FBiH Youth Camp: 44 volunteers to be educated on addiction prevention

The Red Cross of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is organizing its traditional youth camp again this year. This year's camp will be held from August 10 to 14 at the Children's Resort of the Red Cross of Sarajevo Canton in Vogošća, announced the Red Cross, as reported by the Patria news agency.

 

The main topic of the camp, which participants will learn about through educational workshops, is: “Addiction prevention and the fight against drug abuse.” The workshops will be led by Admir Vatreš - inspector of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior, Department for Combating Drug Abuse, and Đana Lončarica - psychologist and Gestalt therapist.

As part of the summer youth camp, International Youth Day will be marked on August 12 with appropriate activities, socializing, and sports games.

The camp will involve 44 young volunteers from 26 municipal and city organizations from 9 cantons within the structure of the Red Cross of the Federation of BiH, as well as 2 young volunteers from the Red Cross of Brčko District BiH.

The official opening of the camp is on August 10 at 2:00 PM. International Youth Day will also be marked on August 12 at the camp, announced the Red Cross.
