What kind of wastefulness is Novalić talking about with a pension of 320 KM?

An old woman of 92 lives in my neighborhood. Her pension is 320 KM. And she is certainly among those several hundred thousand “wasters” in the Federation on Fadil Novalić's list. She surely spends (after paying all her bills) on everything that is not on the essential list. She was entitled to so-called care allowance of about a hundred KM. And then someone thought a review should be carried out, so they called her to a commission. But to get an assessment at that commission, she had to pay 120 KM! And she didn't have it. Probably spending wastefully, so she lost the right to that ridiculous amount for Novalić, who publicly on TV deceives the public without blinking an eye that his wife and the other female ministers did not have a lunch at the expense of the Government. Maybe Fadil doesn't even know about that lunch, because it was organized by people from his cabinet. Maybe one day a review will find the bills from a Sarajevo restaurant where the female ministers treated themselves to exotic dishes.

His smile and statements in a TV appearance the other night were irritating. It was irritating how he makes fools of all of us, citing figures, while telling us that after 6 years we have emerged from recession! Well done, Prime Minister! If he didn't live under a glass bell, and if he weren't just a front man for a new propaganda policy of the SDA leadership, whose task is to convince citizens to trust them more than their own stomachs and hard life, Novalić would see how citizens live. It is insolent to tell people, as the federal prime minister does, that everything is wonderful and beautiful now, following the matrix of his party boss Bakir Izetbegović, who not so long ago told us that life is much better now than a few decades ago.

Of course, Izetbegović certainly lives better now than a few decades ago, because back then he didn't have houses on Poljine, nor flashy cars, nor was his wife the alpha and omega of local healthcare. Both of them, and hundreds of chosen ones alongside them, got what they couldn't even dream of. It is sad that those who should be concerned about the standard of living of citizens, pensioners, the unemployed, students... measure things by themselves. If they took off their rose-colored glasses, and if they were in contact with ordinary people 24 hours a day, instead of in the company of their sycophants and executors, they would know that life is hard.

That young, educated people are leaving this country. That more and more people, regardless of age, are learning German, and leaving this “prosperity” of theirs to go work in nursing homes across Germany and Austria. Well, they are leaving Bosnia out of “rage,” Fadil would say. Who would leave when everyone is doing so well.

Let's not forget Dragan Čović either. He is the best indicator that life is not just good, but excellent. He will be driving a new Audi 8 that cost as much as 170,000 KM of our money. Fadil Novalić is right. We are all wasters when we set aside 170,000 KM for Čović's Audi. But also for politicians' dinners, expensive vehicle fleets, “diplomatic” trips where the poor things exhaust themselves lobbying for this country.

Novalić surely added up these 170,000 KM and the 320 KM pension, divided by two, and there you have the waster statistics. Statistics are a wonder. That's why pensions should be cut by another 10 percent. Why cut, abolish them completely, they are a huge expense for the state. And as Novalić said, we have 25,000 too many of them.
