How will SNSD avoid the dismissal of Špirić, Amidžić, and Košarac again?

(Patria) - The continuation of the 16th regular session of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which began in April this year, is scheduled for Monday, November 3. The Speaker of the House is Kemal Ademović according to the regular rotation.

There are only five items on the agenda, and the last two relate to the dismissal of SNSD ministers Srđan Amidžić and Staša Košarac. Their dismissal was voted on by the House of Representatives of the PA BiH in February, but due to the absence of three SNSD delegates, and sometimes HDZ delegates, from the sessions of the House of Peoples of the PA BiH, a vote on these dismissals has never occurred.

The dismissal of Nikola Špirić from the position of Speaker/First Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PA BiH has also been pending since April.

Before the dismissal items, the House should decide on the election of the first Speaker of the Commission for deciding on conflicts of interest in institutions at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the mandate period of the Commission, proposed by the Joint Collegium of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

The agenda also includes the Proposal of the Decision on the appointment of members of the State Regulatory Commission for Electric Energy from the Federation of BiH from February 2023.

Delegates should also consider the Proposal of Conclusion by delegate Nenad Vuković on the formation of an investigative commission in the case of "Vijadukt".

If the quorum is broken again at the session of the House of Peoples tomorrow, SNSD members will avoid dismissals for which there is a majority of eight delegates, but a quorum is necessary for that.
